Since I was young, sports always had a presence in my life. My mom and sisters played basketball during school and recreationally. My mom also had an interest in volleyball, which I later picked up as well. I started with playing volleyball on my school team in my first year of middle school. The next year, I joined a team that was mainly training and conditioning. In 8th grade, I was on my school team and captain on my club team. I got A's throughout middle school and, so far, throughout my freshman year as well. I want to pursue sports medicine and keep my interests and academics connected.
