I, like any athlete, aspire to play my sport at the collegiate level. I hope to find a place where the right mix of academics, athletics, and social activities will align for myself. I plan to study architecture and I am looking for an elite program for my degree due to the competitive nature of the field. Volleyball has been an enormous part of my life since I was about eight years old, and I want to continue volleyball in college, but I am more concerned with finding the right fit academically. I have grown up with a strong faith background in the Roman Catholic Church and have always attended Catholic or Christian schools. I will continue to pursue my faith in college and would like to be involved in some faith community around me. Over the past year I have looked with growing interest at moving to the east coast for college, but I am open to attending a school almost anywhere.
Since beginning with volleyball I have grown tremendously. My most recent accomplishments would be finishing first in division 1 in 16s in Southern California under SCVA. My team further went on to win the gold medal at the 2017 Girls Junior National Championships in 16 American. I am a four year varsity starter at my high school and I am the captain of the varsity team.
Naturally I would consider myself as a very positive and genuine person. Optimistically I would like to say that I am very charismatic and when I play I add a level of assertiveness and poise to the court. Because I have played volleyball for multiple years and have been stressed through multiple situations, my experience aids to my knowledge of the game and continues to grow as I advance.
