Teagan Freeman '19 Recruiting Profile

I've been around volleyball all my life as my mom was a volleyball coach. I remember my dad dropping me off after school when I was in elementary school and I would pepper with myself on the wall. From an early age I was determined to dig up the top player on my mom's team. That player, a couple years later, went on to play at CSU-Sacramento.   Playing with girls much older than myself gave me the confidence to be successful as a volleyball player in high school and I look forward to making my college team the best they can be.

I strive to be excel at my position.  I head to the gym at 5 am before school twice weekly and after school three times per week.  I also participate in a high level club team all while maintaining a 3.8 GPA this current semester; 3.5 overall. 

Things that set me apart from the average player is my commitment to the sport.  I study game film from myself and others striving to perfect my game.  I seek coaches input and wouldn't be in the place I'm in without the help of my coaches. I am successful off the court as well, enrolling in honors and AP classes.  I currently participate in Interact club.

My goals for college are to make the team I'm on better and to continue to improve and reach my potential.  I'm excited to continue my education potentially in Dentistry with a minor in Business and playing the sport I love.
