Kacie Pedersen '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is kacie Pedersen a 5'9 outside hitter from Riverside California. I currently attend and play volleyball at Martin Luther king high school, and play club for Rancho Valley 17 premiere. Next year is my 4th year playing club volleyball, and it has truly been the most amazing experience for me. Throughout the years I've learned important lessons and absolutely Fallen more in love with this sport.. My team plays in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL)  Which hosts the top teams in Southern California.

 To everyone around me I'm known as smiley the girl that smiles regardless of what's going on around her.  If I make a mistake I  adjust  quickly and move on to the next ball. Coaches say that I'm very coachable I listen well and make the adjustments quickly. I'm always working hard spending long hours in-and-out of the gym working to become the best version of myself, setting goals, reaching them, and setting more for myself, it never stops. Obsessed is the best way I can describe myself when it comes to this sport, in my mind there is no shortage of things I can do or try to improve my game. As as a player my teammates are my family I have a lot of trust and respect for them. For me as a player I work hard every play, you will never see a ball drop on the floor without me diving or flying through the air to keep it in play . Volleyball is what I'm meant to do everything about this sport drives me, I look forward to touching the ball everyday working hard and challenging myself. Playing volleyball at the college level while working towards my degree is my main goal an ultimate dream.
