Gianna Halteh '24 Recruiting Profile

 I fell in love and knew that volleyball is my passion from a very young age. My ultimate goal is to continue this journey throughout college.  I have been competitively playing since the age of ten and have grown up on the court. Volleyball has given me the opportunity to excel in high school by teaching me lifelong skills such as hard work, time management, determination, and patience. As an all-around player,  I play a crucial role in the overall tone of the game.  Through the years volleyball has taught me to adjust my strategy and remain calm when things seem to get out of control, especially during crucial games. 

I work hard on my volleyball skills year-round by playing for my high school team in the fall and club during the season. I continue to maintain my skills throughout the year by seeking different skills camps and conditioning one on one with Precise Sports Science.  When I started volleyball, I was encouraged to be a libero since my passing was so precise and I often took pride in my defensive skills. Through the years my coaches noticed that I was very powerful and taught me to play OH.  I will forever be grateful for my coaches who saw something in me and taught me to be open to different positions. As a current all-around player, I strive to be the best player that I could be. 

As a student in a competitive high school, I strive to be the best student I could be.  My current GPA is 3.7 and would love to attend a college that will help me excel in the classroom as well as the court. I am open to all potential options and would hope to find the right fit that could help me in excel in a  business degree.
