Sydney Wheeler '19 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'6 versatile player who plays outside hitter as well as libero.  As a player I understand my team's needs and I am able to adjust accordingly.  I am from Hemet, California, and I am open to any college that will allow me to play volleyball at my highest level.  I have been a starter on my school's varsity volleyball team at San Jacinto Valley Academy for the past 4 years.  My accomplishments include first team my freshman and sophomore year and MVP for my school as well as for the league during my sophomore year.  I have played club for the past 6 years between Club West and Forza 1.  The previous 2 years I have played for Forza 1 at the national level.  This year I am playing on the 18 team at Spartans Volleyball in Wildomar.  I am a very coachable player and I try to motivate my team to the best of my ability.  As a student I try to challenge myself by taking honors,  AP,  and I am enrolled in 2 IB classes this year.  My career aspiration is to study medicine and become a Physical Therapist.
