Freshman year I made varsity and was a starting middle blocker. We were in our league playoffs and at that time, I was 5’ 4 and blocked a 6’1 outside hitter and scored a big point off my block. That’s when my coach started calling me “Leaping Lita”. This is where passion for the sport really started to grow.
As for academics in high school, I would like to end my junior and senior year with an exceptional GPA. I am looking for a college that has a broad business program where I can flourish in my studies and be prepared to take on life after college. I’ve put in a lot of time and effort into becoming the player I am today. I’ve sacrificed whole summers to help me focus on being a better athlete.
I’ve learned over the years that I am a very coachable athlete and student. I attended 3 years of leadership camps and have grown from being a shy and reserved person, to an outgoing and confident person.
