I started playing volleyball at the end of my 7th grade year. I started playing as setter and currently my main positions are Libero and DS although I still set. My first club team finished second to last (14's NCVA). Through perseverance, my last club team (17's NCVA) finished 13th in Northern California. Although my first team didn't do very well, I loved the game and I promised myself I would get better. I am very quick, I have a lot of energy and I communicate well with my team mates and coaches for positive outcomes.
People have said the following things about me: "She's got a spark", "She has good hands", "She has great things ahead of her", "She knows how to talk it up", "She is coachable" I am always positive and supportive to my team and other people. I constantly work on improving my game. I appreciate the hard work and effort of everyone who helps my team. I have been team captain for three of my teams.
I've been preparing for college volleyball. I understand the hard work, dedication and perseverance necessary to achieve this goal. My older brother is a collegiate wrestler and I have learned a lot from him by being his sister and supporter. I work hard in the classroom, though volunteerism, on the court and in the gym to acheive my goal of being a colligiate volleyball player.
