Personal Statement
I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me academically as well as athletically. I am a Scholar-Athlete which means I am a Student first and foremost; then an Athlete! I aspire to be a medical doctor; an Neurosurgeon to be specific and attending a great university that has excellent programs both academically and athletically is my ultimate goal.
I stand out from others because I work hard and excel both in the classroom and on the court; receiving the "Scholar-Athlete" award. I may not be the typical size of a pin hitter, but I have tremendous Athleticism, a big heart, and a strong desire and determination to succeed in Everything that I do! I not only possess the talents to compete for a college team, but I also have the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to hit the ground running to make an immediate impact on your program. Hence, playing the sport that I love while pursuing a higher education.
On a side note, in addition to honors classes and sports, I am also the student body "President" of my Sophomore class. As well as a member of the "Association of Black Women Physicians". I strive to be the Best in All that I do; leading by example and I know that I have what it takes to be a Leader on your team as well. If you are looking for a volleyball player with heart and has a passion for excellence, who works hard giving 110% all the time and willing to go the extra for my team, then I AM the Recruit you are looking for! I know that with God "I Can Do ALL Things"!
