2017 Highlights Personal Statement
My goals for college are to excel in my studies and to take what I've learned and apply it to the outside world. I hope to mature as a student and as an athlete. I would like to be mentally and physically prepared beyond college and school. I am a hitter but I hope to become more versatile and adapt to any position on the court. I'd like to advance my volleyball IQ.
I have only been playing volleyball for three years, but I am very competitive and hope to compete at the collegiate level. I may lack in some skills but I am very coachable and I pick up what is taught pretty fast. I can balance school work and sports. But if it does become a problem, I make sure to get back on track. I am hardworking and push myself to do what I need to, to perform at a high level. Since I participate in multiple sports, I am very athletic. When it comes to academics, I look forward to taking advanced classes and courses that challenge me to become a better student. I want this experience to help me beyond college.
