Sarah Cusick '12 Recruiting Profile

Hello. My name is Sarah Cusick. I stand 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weigh 145 pounds. My ultimate goal is to achieve my dream of not only going to college to get my degree and further my education but also to continue to play volleyball at the next level after high school. It has been a dream of mine to play volleyball in college since the first time I played in the 7th grade. I always give my best effort as soon as I step on the court not only during matches but also in practice. My goal is to play at the most competitive level I can and to help my team to achieve success in any way possible. I am very excited about the opportunity to explore new challenges both in the class room as well as on the court. I have a very open mind about where I would potentially play and am looking for the best education I can receive and the most competitive volleyball program. As a team captain in several sports, I always try and lead by example and always support my team mates and help them in any way I can. I have been playing club volleyball for the past 4 seasons as well as playing for my high school team. My most recent accomplishments included being named to the First Team/ All League as well as being the MVP of my high school team. I take pride in my overall game and am always competing to the very end no matter what the situation. My desired major would be in Nursing or in the medical field. I feel that I would be an immediate asset to any university and volleyball program and am looking forward to continuing my education and playing career in college.
