Who am I?

 Hi I'm Emma Taylor I am 16 years old. I will be graduating  in the class of 2025 at El Diamante High School in the small city Visalia, Ca. 

As a freshman in 2021, I made VARISTY!!  This was huge because I know I work so hard to reach this. The coach loved my serves and nailed many Ace's.  I am looking forward to my new skills learned from club and high school to put to test in during my year's in high school.

I began loving volleyball in  2017 by being involved in our local City Recreation at a young age of 10 years old.  

In the fall 2018-I joined Sequoia Crush Club Volleyball in the 12's division and I was 11 yrs. old .  

In 2019 I went to SoCal Cub Volleyball and played in 14's at the age of 12 yrs. old . With COVID hitting I didn't get to finish the season but I had private lessons from my club coach to continue practicing.  

In 2020  I went back to Sequoia Crush Club Volleyball I moved up to 16's, after the short season I signed up for Beach Volleyball with Elite out of Clovis, Ca for the summer. Elite beach Volleyball taught me to be relentless, and trusted my abilities more from the techniques and strength's I grew in. 

For 2021 I moved clubs to keep improving on my skills and talent. I joined Dinamite Club Volleyball in 15 Power.  

2022,  I am a starter on Varsity, SECOND year on the team. I love playing defense in the back row by getting those hard digs. I have bruises to show on my arms and knees, how hard I work. Its the best feeling in the world when you make some awesome digs. My coach also starts me off as server to get the team going in the right directions.  I play all around and front row as out side hitter, I like to hit the ball hard and pick on the open areas on the opposing court. This season we have 6 Seniors and it will be hard to say good bye at the end of the season, we have a had some great highlights.  

2022-2023 Club season started with Dinamite 16U. 

Academically, my goal is to maintain high academic standards, being apart of high honor roll and continuing to excel in Honor classes. With College around the corner I am looking for a University  that will benefit me academically in my career path and to continue to play the sport I love the most, Volleyball. Currently I am interested in Art, Computer tech, and Nursing.
