Personal Statement
I started playing volleyball at age 9 to have something to do in my free time that was fast paced and fun. After playing it for the first season, I honestly fell in love with the sport and have wanted to be playing as much as possible since. Having been on a team either in AYL, Club or High School being a starting libero/DS in college has become one of my main aspirations. I give 100% all the time, every day through my school work, practices, being a good daughter, sister and friend. Every coach that I have ever had has said that I am a leader and one of the most coach-able athletes they have ever worked with. I work hard each and every day, on and off the court to be a leader and to set examples for those around me. I have learned many things about myself since I started playing volleyball; I have learned that I can accomplish anything I want when I set my mind to it and that people pushing me to my limits makes me excel.
I know my love for volleyball will continue for the rest of my life and I hope to bring the love I have for it to younger girls.
