Hi, I’m Addie Dotson. I am a junior at Broomfield High School in Broomfield, Colorado. I’ve grown up doing sports--constantly trying different things for the challenge and to find what I really have a passion for. I first discovered volleyball when I registered for a recreational league in fifth grade. It instantly stuck; I fell in love with volleyball and since then, my love for the sport continues to grow.
I began playing club in seventh grade, and that’s when I realized that volleyball was something I really wanted to get serious about. Whether it be volleyball, school, or any other hobbies, when I find something I love, I fully commit myself and work hard to learn and improve.
Excelling in school is super important to me and I am an over-achiever who is not satisfied with anything less than an A. I love to learn and grow and help others around me to do the same. I work hard to set myself up for success. My dream has always been to play college volleyball, and I will do whatever it takes to achieve that. I want to be part of a team that I can contribute to, to help my teammates be the best that they can be, and continue to grow as a student, player, and teammate.
