I have been blessed in life with a family that guides me academically and athletically. My Mom is an elementary school teacher and my Dad is a Tennis professional. I have an older brother who is a sophomore in college, and he attends UC Davis, majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. During his high school career, he was extremely successful. I also have a twin sister that has been my competition since birth. My Mom has helped me become a lifelong learner by instilling habits and strategies that allow me to be successful. Through these habits and strategies, I have developed a study plan that has allowed me to be an overachieving student. My Mom has been influential and has taught me ways of learning and retaining those learnings. I'm blessed to have her as my own academic advisor. My Dad is a Tennis Professional that travels Sectionally and Nationally with his players, I have been able to travel and train many times with them and have seen what it takes to play at both of those levels. My Dad always talks to me and my sister about controlling the controllables. He uses the Acronym "A.C.E." with us which is controlling our Attitude, Confidence, and Effort. My Brother is very smart and has guided me many times academically by helping me learn things that I didn't understand. My twin sister has always been my competition and has pushed me to be better as a person, academically and athletically.
