Alyssa Koeltzow '24 Recruiting Profile

I am so excited for the opportunities that are available playing at the collegiate level as I have been playing volleyball since I was 5 years old.  I love competing and improving my game and being a part of a team that works toward a common goal. While my primary position is an outside hitter, I really thrive in being able to play the game at every position and love being an effective defensive player, as well.   I want to pursue a degree in science (primarily Biochemistry and Molecular Biology as a focus).  I am very driven academically and take my schooling very seriously,  while balancing that with my athletic responsibilities.  I have been able to maintain a 3.94 GPA in academically challenging classes (Honors Biology, Chemistry, and Honors Algebra II as a sophomore) while excelling at volleyball, while running my school’s FCCLA chapter.  I look forward to the opportunity to bring my drive to college and beyond.
