Sydney Erps '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Sydney Erps. I have been playing volleyball ever since I was nine. Ever since I was 2 I have been involved in all kinds of sports. But the one sport that really stole my heart was volleyball. I have developed a deep passion and love for this sport. It is definitely my escape from the world where I feel like I can do anything. I love meeting new people! Especially when I know we will be a big family!  I am very well rounded and very coachable as all of my coaches have said. Positions I have played: outside hitter, middle, right side hitter, setter, and defense. I have played club volleyball in total for 10 years, I am very loud and competitive on the court. I believe I follow good leadership and communicate very straight forward with players and also to the coaches. I love keeping the energy going on the court. I think having positivity, energy, and focus are important during games and where they will be the most fun! I encourage my team mates and encourage my coaches throughout the game to keep the game moving. I know you need to be head strong in the game of volleyball, but I have the biggest heart for this sport. Thank you for your interest and  I can’t wait to meet you!
