Personal Statement
I want to be a well-rounded student in college. I want to do well in my studies and, if possible, play volleyball. I would be a good candidate for your team because I am a very hard worker, will always do everything to the best of my abilities, a team player, and have a positive attitude. My sister had a Wilms' tumor when she was 11 months old. We have since started working with the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation and have raised almost $25,000 to go towards childhood cancer research. I may be small, but what I lack in height I make up for in athleticism. I am very fast, have a good reaction time, and will give every point my all. I am very strong academically. I have a 4.0 GPA, am 10th in my class, and participate in the Academic Challenge Program, the program is where I take math and language arts with Del-Tech and University of Delaware and it starts in eighth grade. Also, I score very high on the standardized tests, I am always near a perfect score. Thank you for your consideration and I hope you pick me as your next player.
