Sydni Greenwood '20 Recruiting Profile

            My name is Sydni Greenwood. I currently attend MOT Charter High School and will be graduating in the spring of 2020. I have been playing volleyball for 3 years and am typically playing as an Outside, Middle or Right Side Hitter. Ever since I started playing volleyball I grew a love for the sport. It became an out for when I'd be overwhelmed or stressed.  This helped me become me to be a natural leader on both my high school and club teams.   On the court, I'm known to be the one with the constant smile on her face ready for the next play and to give it all I have. During my last two seasons, I am determined to push myself as a leader and a player to become the best I can be.

            When I graduate, I want to play volleyball and the next level. I want to major in Nursing. I intend to go to a school that has a volleyball program where I can feel can be my home away from home. I also intend to go to a school that thinks not just about the athletic program, but the academic program as well. I am driven by an environment that pushes me to be the best player I can be and I tend to do my best when in tough situations. In college, I plan to be the one who encourages others to want to play and be their best and to never give up. I also want to help bring out the more competitive side of others.  I believe I can play at the next level and for a college team because of my work ethic and team building skills as well as my balance between academic and athletic life.
