Dear Coaches,
I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share my goals and aspirations with you and express why I believe I would be an exceptional addition to your team. As a student-athlete, I have dedicated myself to achieving excellence both on and off the court and field since I am a two sport athlete also doing track and field, and I am confident that my unique personality, athletic ability, and academic achievements set me apart from other recruits. Here's why:
- 1. Goals and Aspirations: My ultimate goal in college is to excel academically while making significant contributions to the athletic program. My goal is to become a humans rights lawyer since I have seen the struggles of people who have been born different from others and have grown up in poor and broken situations, and have not only dealt with the backlash of people but have also been neglected and treated very poorly by our government. I aspire to be a valuable team member, pushing myself and my teammates to reach new heights and encouraging them not with anger because of a bad play but with gentleness and positive affirmations that will make them feel better on and off the court. Additionally, I aim to take advantage of the diverse learning opportunities provided by the university, such as internships, research projects, and leadership roles within student organizations. I am committed to using my experience as a springboard for personal growth and development in all areas of my life.
- 2. Dedication and Work Ethic: Throughout my high school years, I have demonstrated commitment to my athletic pursuits. I consistently strive for improvement and push myself beyond my limits to achieve my goals. Whether it's early morning workouts, late-night practices, or additional skill-building sessions, I am willing to put in the extra effort to continuously enhance my abilities. My dedication and work ethic translate into a strong work rate on the court and a willingness to go the extra mile for both my teammates and coaches.
