My name is Xyiah Moore and I am a member of the graduating class of 2024. I am a great candidate for any volleyball team that I join because I am teachable, mentally tough, and I am a great leader (on and off the court). I have been playing varsity volleyball since the 8th grade. As a high schooler, I was captain for 10-12th grade. Volleyball is a passion I have held since I was in the 3rd grade and it has become a part of who I am. Not only am I good at volleyball, but I excel academically in a rigorous Honors and AP curriculum and will be graduating with Highest Honors. Because of my academic prowess, I already have some college credits due to my AP testing scores. As an athlete, there will never be a problem with me being on any type of academic probation. For my Senior year, I was named as an Allen Law Firm Scholar Athlete of the week due to my hard work and dedication both on and off the court.
In my years of playing volleyball, I have had the opportunity to play every position with the exception of setter. This makes me a great candidate for a team because you fill in any gap with me since I have the experience. I am a hard worker. I come early and stay late. I have a great sense of humor and I am dependable. If given the opportunity to play for your team, I will not disappoint!
After college, I plan to take my love of sports to the next level and become a Physical Therapist. My goal is to obtain my Doctorate in this field. Physical Therapy has been a great support to me during my athletic career so far and I want to be a blessing to others in that same capacity.
