Ever since I came home from my very first volleyball practice I knew volleyball was a passion. Volleyball is my biggest goal in life. I started playing in the seventh grade. I started playing as a setter on the JV and I've loved that position ever since. I also played some extra time on Varsity. At the end of the season I was rewarded with the JV Coach's Award for being a great team player.
My eighth grade year I was put on JV for leadership skills and I was put as Captain of the team to build responsibility. I was the only setter that year. By the end of the season I was rewarded with the JV MVP Award. I also played for the Varsity team during districts after the JV season ended.
My ninth grade year I was put strictly on Varsity as a starting setter and after the season ended my tenth grade year, my coaches wanted to train me as an outside hitter for next season and so I went with that. Now I'm part-time setter and part-time outside hitter; basically wherever my coach needs me the most at the moment. My team could always depend on me. I'm thoughtful and good-natured. I've never had a problem connecting with people and being liked. I've become a good listener and I rely on myself to do better. I support my team and oppose strongly. I will work hard to succeed. I'm a committed person and I have integrity. I have perseverance. I'm determined and very competitive.
I play varsity basketball and varsity softball as well. The year of 2015 I helped manage and helped teach the boys volleyball team at my high school. I've been on the A/B honor roll my whole life. I plan on going into athletic education in college and playing volleyball in college and go into professional/olympic volleyball.
