Abigail Wood '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello Prospective Coach!

My name is Abigail Wood, but my friends call me Abby. I am a 5’4", 170lb volleyball player with a GPA of 3.4. This year marks the start of my junior year of high school. I love the sport of volleyball and know it well. I am able to see the game as a whole and understand its parts to find the best road to success in a game.

I was blessed to be a starter on the JV volleyball team for my high school during my freshman and sophomore years. I have played both setter, outside hitter, and backrow. It is my desire to play setter or outside right-side hitter in college. 

The qualities that I bring to my performance in volleyball are a robust work ethic, physical strength, and a strong determination to secure victory. I love to set others up for success by being a part of a team and having good collaboration. I am strong in my faith and of good moral character. I believe that I will make a good addition to the right school's volleyball team and overall community.  I have served my community by officiating and refereeing in recreation volleyball at my local church. 

I am starting my fourth year of club volleyball with the Warriors Athletics and will be playing on the 18U team for the 23-24 season that officially kicks off in December.
