Grace Ieremia '19 Recruiting Profile

Being a volleyball player is my lifestyle. I am a middle/OPP HITTER.  Very proud of my AVCA hitting swing velocity measurement of  37.80, while the top 20% of college players measure at 36%.  Controlled hard fast hits is my thing. Monster blocks are right up there as well, but I just love volleyball. Please see my link attached as I build my you tube page for current videos. 

I have learned that I have a deep passion for being a complete, whole athlete for my team, my coach and myself.  The drive I have is intense and I am committed whole heartedly.  This is not a past time, it is my life and my future.  What makes me different is my discipline and heart for the game.  Always wanting to be pushed to the next level, always having a fearless attitude, always wanting us all to be our best.  The possibility of getting to play in college is and has been my dream for a long time.  It is a goal I pray to reach. Playing volleyball at a Class 9A school with over 5,000 students has always kept me driven to succeed on the court and in my classes.  We have been to the final four twice in the past three years and I have had the experience of being Captain while earning the varsity position since my freshman year.  I am in an Art magnet program with honor classes and President of our FCA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes program.  School, FCA and volleyball along with the support of my family is what makes me who I am.  My current club team always stayed in the top 10 in the state of Florida, which has molded me into a better athlete all around.  I thrive on competition and challenges.  Knowing I am always a fast learner with the heart for my team to be the best, I know I will be a great fit to a future college team.  God Bless.
