My name is Christianna Miller and I‘m in the IB Program here at Rutherford highschool with all honors classes. What makes me a good candidate to play on a college ball team is that I am a great team player. I like working with others and I’m always open to taking advice from other teammates how I can approve. I’m an extremely bubbly person when I get comfortable around my teammates! I was born and raised here in Panama City Florida and I love my little city. Sadly on October 10th of 2018 Hurricane Michael left my city in ruins. The damages on my house were so bad that my family could no longer afford it and my family could also no longer get me into a travel ball team because of the expenses, we lost the house. The hurricane happened in the middle of my freshman year during volleyball season so we ended up having to cancel the rest of it. My experience from the hurricane changed my whole perspective on life. Always be thankful for what you have because you never know what could happen and stay strong no matter what life throws at you. Playing college volleyball has been a dream of mine since I was in 7th grade and is still a dream of mine today. Even though I have never played travel ball, I know that I have what it takes to be on a college team. I’m a very fast learner and I’m always up for a challenge.
