I love competing in volleyball. I enjoy both indoor and beach volleyball. I plan to attend a college where I can obtain my degree in Exercise Science and work towards being a physician’s assistant. I want to be able to help people. I am a leader on my team and work hard to grow my skills, as well as motivate my teammates during practice and games. I am currently in 11th grade at West Florida High School of Advanced Technology and am a full time dual enrollment student. I am a Captain on my volleyball team. I am the PNJ volleyball player of the week September 18-25. I am a PNJ player to watch in preseason. I’m leading my team in kills, digs & serve points & and second in aces and serve %. I finished my sophomore season #1 in kills and hit %, #2 in digs, serve % and aces. My Freshman year of varsity volleyball I finished #2 in kills and in the top 5 for aces, serve %, digs, pass %, hit %. on my team and in the top 10 for our district for hit %, serve %, aces, kills, digs and pass %. I made the Pensacola News Journal Top 10 leader board, in the first few weeks of our season, for serve %. I was captain of my 15u travel volleyball team and led our team in pass % while maintaining top 3 in kills, digs, serve % and aces. Academically, I currently have 9 credits, because I finished middle school with 2 high school credits: Spanish I, Algebra 1, and a weighted GPA of 3.82 . I am in the Biomedical Academy, which is an honors level program. I will earn certifications in this program and will continue taking Honors, Gifted, AP and Dual Enrollment courses for college credits over the next three years. I am currently a member of our yearbook club, and have previously participated in the following sports basketball team, swim team (100 freestyle, 50 breaststroke, 25 freestyle, 50 backstroke) and soccer, but I found my passion in volleyball. I aspire to be a part of a team that wants to compete at their highest level and pushes one another to be their best. My favorite things about my current club coach is that I know she wants what is best for me and the team, she holds us accountable, she’s structured so we have productive practices that help us get better and she demands our best.
