Elizabeth Johnson '18 Recruiting Profile

I  have been playing volleyball since 3rd grade. At first, it was for fun, and to keep busy. However, when my love for the game grew, along with my skills and desire to succeed and to win, volleyball became a major part of my life. Ever since I watched my first college volleyball game, I made it a goal to step on a college court as a player. I am an extremely dedicated and hardworking person, whether its on the court, in the gym during the offseason, or in the classroom, furthering my education. I am very driven to put in whatever it takes to reach my goal of playing in a small Division I college, or a more competitive  Division II or III school. I am a firm believer in the saying "hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard", and that is the saying I tell myself everyday as I work to make my collegiate volleyball dreams become a reality.
