Playing volleyball is not just “my sport”, it is an important part of who I am. I did not discover this overnight, however. After a rocky attempt at gymnastics and a good-hearted run at soccer, I found volleyball to be my true passion. I am now entering my fourth year of playing club volleyball, and I am so excited to see what this season holds.
I just can't get enough of volleyball. I am constantly wanting to be on the court and play. I know there is always room for improvement, so I am always striving to be better. This takes dedication and hard work.
I am also in my ninth year of studying the violin, and have found that hard work and diligence pay off in that area as well. In addition, I continue to grow and learn through private instruction and conditioning both on and off the court.
My ultimate goal would be to play volleyball in a college that has a good balance of athletics and academics. I haven’t chosen a definitive career path as of now, but I am interested in Film and Media arts as well as International Studies.
