I just completed my senior year of high school at Venice High School . I am currently playing for the Jellys Volleyball team on the 18 s Black Elite team, coached by Kevin Krause and Dave Kohler. My position is a serving libero.
I have been enrolled in the gifted education program since I was in the third grade. I am a member of the National Honor Society with over 40 volunteer hours, many of which were spent on the volleyball court at the local Venice YMCA coaching and teaching the sport of volleyball for grades 3rd-8th. I am a student at Venice High School in Venice, FL enrolled in one IB and two AP courses. I have been academically selected to participate in the Medical Academy which prepares students who would like to obtain a career in the medical field. I have been playing volleyball since age 11, this is my sixth year and I have developed a strong passion for the sport. I have always been athletic my entire life. Before I started playing volleyball, I was on the Venice YMCA gymnastics team, my last year of gymnastics I placed first out of my age group in the state. I later chose to start playing club volleyball for Venetian Bay located in Venice Florida during my sixth grade school year. I started my first two years in club volleyball as a setter and for the past six years I have been a libero. I transferred to The Jellys Volleyball Club. Jelly's is a Christian based club that was founded in 2007 by Kevin Krause. I also play in the beach circuit for dig the beach series, and coached by Julio Cruz for Sand Dollar Beach Volleyball. Volleyball is a mental game, when my team is feeling defeated I am able to remain positive and encourage my team for a win. I am a hard working person both on and off the court. I always strive to be the best I can and look forward to playing volleyball while I am in college.
