Lillian Fowler '19 Recruiting Profile

To begin I LOVE PLAYING VOLLEYBALL!    My parents gave me the opportunity to play many sports growing up such as softball, soccer and basketball.  I tried out for the volleyball team my freshman year in high school and fell in love. I was placed on the JV team but was moved up to Varsity because of my skills and hard work.  I am a leader on the court.  Many other players look to me for guidance and position placement.   I am a smart, skilled player.  I know the game, the rotations, etc.   I consider myself a very coachable player as I take direction well and I am always looking to improve my game. My primary position is Outside Hitter but I play all around and my passing skills get better and better.    During my junior year on the volleyball team I was made team Captain, selected 2nd Team All Area Region 4-AAAA 2017, I was selected as Newton County Athlete of the week,  received the Hustle Award and the Academic Award.   I am currently a high school senior and am team Captain, I have been selected All Area 1st team and GHSA Volleyball 4AAAA Area Player of the Year.

In addition to my dedication to volleyball, I take pride in being a true student athlete.  I am a dual enrollment student attending GA State University and Eastside High School taking AP classes.  I maintain a 4.0 GPA at both.  I have been selected as a member of the National Honor Society.  I am interested in a career in the medical field and during the summer of 2017 I volunteered at Jasper Memorial Hospital.

I aspire to obtain a volleyball scholarship at a school that I can also pursue a degree in the medical field.  Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
