Personal Statement
Motivator, leader, hard worker and comical, are a few words that describe me. My name is
London Aguillard. I have played on a club elite team for 7years and played school ball since the
5th grade. I have always taken honors classes and maintained a 4.0 GPA. I have taken 9 hours of Dual Enrollment classes and currently taking 6 hours this semester.
I owe my success in academics and volleyball to my strong work ethics and a never-give-up mindset. I will bring those assets to any college-level team.
If you would ask me why I love volleyball, I would have to say it is a combination of being part
of a team, learning from coaches, and the energy of competing. I love winning, but I believe I
learn the most during a loss. I invite constructive input from my coaches and teammates and
grow from it.
My team, coaches, and parents consistently say I bring positive energy to the game. I do get
hype during games, and my team responds positively to it. My team is a part of my family. We
share a sisterhood. I believe in them as they believe in me. My coaches and fellow teammates
depend on me. Win or lose, I play till the end. As I get older, I have noticed more responsibility
is expected from me. Responsibility does not scare me, it challenges me. I am constantly
processing the information as I play. It keeps me focused and on my toes.
I look forward to playing at the collegiate level. I will excel at the collegiate level because of my leadership skills, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn.
In addition to playing volleyball in college, I would like to study business and real estate law.
