Personal Statement
I have been playing volleyball since I was a little kid. It has always been a dream of mine to play volleyball at a collegiate level. I got into volleyball because my mom played volleyball and she inspired me to pursue that. I want to get a full ride scholarship to play volleyball at any college and major in nursing. What makes me a good candidate for a team and from other recruits in character is my ability to work well with others, being humble, strong-willed, caring, loving, committed, eager to learn more, and the motivation to do well in both academics and athletics. What makes me different from other recruits in athletics is my ability to work well with others, leadership, having a good mindset, listening to the coach, and already knowing what to do without being asked to do something. What makes me stand out in academics is that I put my education before sports. I am a student before I am an athlete. If I struggle in a class, I go in for class, go to tutoring, and do extra work. I am also currently in 2 AP classes; AP Physics and AP Psychology. I am very involved with my school. I am also involved in our Peer Education Program and the National Honor Society. I am determined to make my dream of playing volleyball at a collegiate level and majoring in nursing come true no matter what.
