Kiley Mahoney '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kiley Mahoney and I am currently a sophomore at Lyons Township High School - in La Grange, IL - class of 2024. I have been a part of club volleyball with Lions Juniors/1st Alliance since 4th grade and have been focused on improving my skills since then.     This Club season I am on the 1st Alliance 16 Silver Team.  

Volleyball has taught me the importance of team work, dedication, communication, trust, self-discipline, time management and much more!  I love being involved with an amazing sport and having wonderful teammates!

During my 2021 high school volleyball season, I was the starting Libero on the Varsity Team. My high school, Lyons Township, ended the season ranked 5th in the State of Illinois (maxpreps.com).  

On the court, I focus on always making an impact on the game, whether that is bettering each ball that comes in my direction to telling my hitters which shot to hit.   

Off the court, I hold myself accountable for obtaining good grades each semester, as I am taking classes that challenge me. I highly value my academic career.  I am also involved in other activities, such as Math Team, Girl Scouts, Young Life, Peer Ambassador Program, Athlete Leadership Program, and the Teen Advisory Board at my library.  I hope to continue my volleyball career & bring my competitiveness and dedication to a college program.  I hope to attend a college with strong academic expectations while contributing to the success of the volleyball program.
