Elli Gaskill '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Elli Gaskill.  I am a senior at Elkhart Central High School, class of 2018, and I have been playing volleyball since fourth grade.  I have wanted to play at the collegiate level since I first stepped on a court.  I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

I am quick on the court and I have a strong jump serve.  I am a very competitive, intense and focused player.  I communicate well with my teammates and encourage team unity.  I played my early years as a setter and between eighth and ninth grade changed over to playing in the libero position and have played their since that time.  I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.

In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA.  I also volunteer every afternoon at my local hospital shadowing a nurse as part of my high school internship.  I will pursue my nursing degree in college.

I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the court.  I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible.  I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and make my family proud.
