Personal Statement

My name is Jurnee Hall, and I would consider myself a student first and an athlete second. My academic prowess and sustained GPA speaks for themselves. My main goal is to play Division I volleyball and be a solid contributor to my team.

What makes me a good candidate for your team is that I am a quick study, very coachable, determined, and a "We over me" type of person.

What makes me different from other recruits is my explosiveness off the ground to block and hit the ball, my 30" vertical leaping ability, and my quick decision-making skills, along with my vision of the entire court.

I am a middle blocker with an incredible jumping ability. I play all positions and currently, however since my 5'8" height is not ideal for a middle blocker in college, I am transitioning to an outside hitter and defensive specialist.

Defense - Aggressive as a defender. Good read on the attack and defensive positioning, and seems to enjoy making the play. Scrimmage Play - Play was elevated in team activities. Great understanding of your roles and responsibilities within a team.
