Jaina McWilliams '24 Recruiting Profile

I plan on pursuing my dream of playing volleyball at a higher level.  I believe that I'm a good fit for the defensive specialist position because of my willingness to accept the challenges and leadership that I bring to the court. For the past several seasons I've been my team's libero. I'm competitive and driven to want to win. I put my heart on the court and it carries to my teammates. I've been called a "work horse'' and an "energizer bunny". With this being said, I always give 110% effort on and off the court. I bring energy which keeps the team going through thick and thin. As a student-athlete, I think it's very important to maintain good grades. I'm interested in criminology and criminal justice. I am very passionate about playing volleyball and studying in the midwestern and southern regions, but I am open to looking at different schooIs.  I'm looking for a college that  meets both academics and athletics. I'm also looking for a  college that has a good atmosphere.
