Personal Statement
I have been playing volleyball since I was eight years old. I have always wanted to play at the college level. Watching my cousins and sister play at the next level has only made me push myself even harder to do my best on the court and at school, so that one day I can make that once in a lifetime decision, which could change my whole life.
On and off the court I am a leader, I encourage my teammates and respect my coaches. I have a hard float serve and quick movement on the court. Daily, I am pushing myself to improve in all of those skills and more.
In school, I strive to do the best I can and keep my GPA up. I'm respectful to all my teachers and classmates along with having a positive attitude towards others and work that has to be done in class as well as outside of classroom.
My goal is to attend a college that is the right match for me and provides that highest level of competition possible. I would like to attend a college that provides a variety of fields in nursing, as I'm not for sure which direction I'd like to go in that major. I'd also like to attend a college that has classes in which I will have to push myself in. I want to be an individual that my peers and others look up to and see that hard work in the class, on the court as well as off of the court pays off. I want my community as well as my family to be proud of the student athlete that I am.
