Personal Statement
I've grown up around volleyball but didn't find my love for it until I was in 6th grade, I've been addicted to the sport ever since. Although having to catch up to my peers was a lot of hard work, it built character, made me determined and has helped me get to where I am now, because I always strive to improve. On top of volleyball I am on my schools track team and I compete in high jump and hurdles. On top of sports I am in multiple clubs like BETA, KYA (Kentucky Youth Assembly)and I got nominated to join NHS (National Honors Society), as well as being on the Honor roll the past 2 years, I try my best to do both sides of a student-athlete. I hope to pursue a career in the medical field, specifically neurosurgery, but another interest of mine is also criminal justice and criminal psychology/behavioral studies.
