I Emilyn Nestibo, A graduate of 2024 have grown up in a small rural town in Manitoba. Having lots of time on my hands and being in a town with minimal sport's volleyball became a huge passion to me. Starting in grade six I knew it was for me, now with 5 years of club experience and being on school teams for 6 years, I have really pushed this passion. Going to as many camps as I can as well as asking and going to private lessons with club coaches. I work to be not just a good team mate but also team leader in everything I can. Helping out in younger teams practices, filling in at other team practices when they are missing a girl and helping my own team mates if they are struggling with a drill. I am very workable and will listen and follow through with what I am being told and coached to do as I too want to be the best player I can.
My academics are also very important to me and with a full schedule, time management is something I have become very good at. I have maintained a 94.5% average or higher throughout my whole high school career. taking classes such Physics, Biology, Electronics, Woods, Precalculus and am planning on taking my Calculus and Chemistry courses next year.
