Personal Statement

My name is Devi Walker, an outside hitter of 2024 who aspires to play at the college level. Playing volleyball is my passion, and it shows on the court. I am very coachable and willing to listen to advice from my coaches to become a better player. It's important to me to always be positive with my teammates, both on and off the court. A sense of leadership has always been important to me. As a military child, I attended various schools and played volleyball on several different teams. My goal is to prove I am able to bring something new to the team. With each team I've been on, I gain more and more knowledge, and I bring these traits to my new team. Volleyball has been my main sport for about 6 years, and I have loved it ever since I started.
