Mackenzie Blevins '18 Recruiting Profile

I started playing volleyball when I was 9 years old. I have worked extremely hard to become a strong, versatile player and a team leader. I am very coachable and will always put 100% effort into my practices and my games. I am athletic and a dedicated player with one goal in mind, and that is to become the best player I can be and to become part of competitive college team! I currently run a 5-1 on my team this year, but can switch comfortably to a 6-2 when an additional hitter is needed. I started playing middle on my varsity high school team as a freshman and then was moved to the starting setter position my sophomore year where we won the Maryland 2A State Championship! I also have a lot of experience as a defensive specialist. I have quick movement on the court and also have an effective jump float. 

In the classroom, I study hard and have been maintaining a weighted GPA of 3.968.  I am ranked 58th out of 295 in my class.

I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the court! I am a team player and am confident I  will work hard to make an impact on my college team!
