Claire Tobin '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Claire Tobin and I am excited to introduce myself to you as a 2020 prospect.

As a volleyball player I can bring a valued set of skills to your team.  I am currently playing at the National level for my club team and was introduced to the Varsity level in high school as a sophomore starter. I have spent the majority of my years to date as a Libero and Defensive Specialist on my National club level teams however I have also served as a Setter on my high school team. I think this shows the diversity of skills I can bring to your program . I am an ambidextrous, smart utility player that can fit into a primary role or multiple roles. The number of roles I am capable of filling not only shows my versatility as an athlete but my mentality of team first and doing what is needed in the best interest of the team. I hope to show you my best set of skills both athletically and academically and make a match that we both can be super excited about.

Academically I set high standards for myself. I currently carry a 4.175 GPA and am an active member of my school and city communities. I am currently a Junior student at Lakeview HS in Battle Creek, MI which is a Class A D1 school. I am a member of National Honor Society, student government and the Youth Alliance Committee which is a not for profit philanthropy in my community. I am also a three year varsity returner for my school track team. I hope to get my doctorate in Physical Therapy and work to help keep people moving.
