Brooklyn Witgen '19 Recruiting Profile

I was moved up onto varsity half way through my sophomore year of volleyball. When I was moved up it was challenging for me because the practices and games were more fast-paced than they were on JV. We also had three other middles so I had to work for my spot. Encouragement from my coaches and teammates helped me always put my best foot forward. The challenges that I faced in the beginning of moving up to varsity have made me into a better player and allowed me to grow and become successful.

Hard work and dedication has gotten me to where I am today. Without my teammates and coaches there's no way I'd be where I am. I'm hoping to find a great college that is the right for me. Playing college volleyball while getting a higher education is something that I have wanted for a while. I am very open to playing either as an outside hitter or middle hitter. I have the dedication, work ethic, and the right attitude that would help me be a college athlete and fit with any program.
