Allison Parski '15 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5’4” Senior DS/Libero/Setter from L’Anse Creuse High School North.  I have played club volleyball for 6 years and this past club season I was on the Next Generation Volleyball Club 17 National Team.  I have a huge passion for volleyball, and I’ve always dreamed of taking my game to the next level and playing in college.  Throughout my career, I have played Libero, Defensive Specialist and Setter.  My freshman year I was on the JV team as a Libero.  My sophomore year, I also played on the JV team but was moved to Setter.  Both of these years, my team went undefeated.  Last year, I was on Varsity and played Libero and received honorable mention for my conference.   Once again, we were very successful as we were undefeated and won our conference.  For my senior year, I have moved back to setter and once again my team went undefeated in our conference. I am the type of person who gives her all and is willing to fill in where ever needed.  Attitude is a big part of the game and I am a firm believer that you need to stay positive because that filters through the whole team.  I love getting good coaching and improving my game.

I have also played tennis for the past three seasons and I earned All Macomb County second team for 2 doubles my second season and All Macomb County first team for 1 doubles this past season.  I have been in multiple clubs in school while still maintaining a 4.01 GPA and ranking 7 out of 452 in my class.  I am a very well rounded athlete who loves to compete and I work hard at whatever I am doing.  Academically, I wish to pursue a career working with children.  Currently, I am thinking about Elementary Special Education and Speech Pathology.
