My name is Bella Butler-Goodyke and I attend Kalamazoo Central High School in Kalamazoo, MI. I have had experience in many positions throughout my career, however I have had the most in MB & RS/OPP hitter. I first started playing volleyball around the age of 12, and in the end I think it has really impacted my growth as a person overall. I continuously strive to become better on both the court and in my daily/academic life. I would say that I am not as much a leader, but a listener. However, I am slowly becoming to take more responsibility in taking the opportunity to lead my team onto success. I often learn well from others, especially with working as a team. In addition, I am always there for my teammates and my coaches whenever they need me to be there. My goals as a player is to become successful in the collegiate level, and to hold myself to higher standards when it comes to determination and perseverance. I look forward into pursuing and improving both my academic and volleyball careers.
