Volleyball is not just a sport, it is an passion, a lifestyle. Ever since the first time I stepped on the court I fell in love with the sport. From then on I practiced everyday, with or without other people. When I play volleyball it is as if nothing else matters. I am fairly short so all the coaches thought I would be a setter until they decided to let me try to hit.There on out I have been an outside hitter. I want to play volleyball at the college level and hopefully someday go to the Olympics. Other then volleyball I play basketball, and run track. I also participate in band, jazz band, pep band, and drama. After college I hope to be an oncologist who can help people everyday and make a difference in everyday lives. I work hard to maintain a high GPA and help anyone when I can.
