Malinda Brunk '22 Recruiting Profile

    I fell in love with volleyball when I was in 6th grade. Since then I have dedicated everything I have to making myself the best player and teammate I can be by practicing sometimes 5 times a week during club season and practicing 5 days a week during the school season. However, my academics have also always held such an important role in my life, I aspire to get into one of the best colleges in the country, regardless of where it is at. I believe if i work hard enough, my gpa and work ethic will take me wherever I desire. I bring so much energy and passion to every single team I have been on and have been recognized by coaches and players multiple times as someone they can count on to be there for the team when they need it. The last three seasons, coaches have acknowledged my hard work and drive by being rewarded as most improved player or simply being told at the end of the season that my skills have improved a significant amount. I don't plan on taking any steps back until my placement in a college is secured and I know I've done everything in my power to set myself up for success as best as I can.
