Hello! My name is Nichole Hyduk and I'm currently going into my Senior year at Dakota High School in Macomb, Michigan. I started playing volleyball in 6th grade and have been playing every year since. I enjoy the games of volleyball and soccer because of there competitive nature and camaraderie with teammates. I'm currently a pin hitter and play a 6 rotation for my volleyball teams. I believe I'm a very hard worker that is willing to build my endurance, knowledge, strength and mental characteristics of the game.
I enjoy going to National Parks, helping people in need at Heritage days and drawing designs. I'm open to all majors as I continue my high school education. I enjoy business discussions, math, history, architecture, drawing and designing things while being creative and unique with my own ideas.
I've always thought of myself as successful in both academics and athletics and I hope to pursue both in college. I believe it takes a lot of hard work, time, and effort to be successful in both. Its something that I'm willing to work at to be the best that I can be. I'm hoping to find a University that has a few of my majors of interest and also a competitive volleyball program. I'm looking for a University/College that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. Academically, I would like to have an opportunity to study, earn a degree and make a difference for my family. As for athletics I believe I not only have enough talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work ethic, and leadership skills to make an impact on a program. As a two sport athlete and three time captain, I believe I know what it takes to be a leader on your team! I've loved the game of volleyball for as long as I can remember and its something I would like to do in the future.

- MEVBA u15 2015 team won several tournaments including U16 league division. The team finished 65th out of 150 teams in Orlando this past June 2016. The team won 5 matches and lost 5 matches (winning 12 sets and losing 10 sets).

- AwardsNichole is leading her team in hitting percentage and to a 5-0 conference record after beating a very good 7th ranked Anchor Bay team on Sept 26th. She defended and blocked a very good hitter 4 times (Maria Mallon who will be playing at University of Cincinnatti next year) leading her team to a 3-0 victory. To start the 2017 campaign, Nichole started and helped lead her team to a 3rd place finish in the Macomb County opening volleyball tournament. Dakota beach their arch rival Eisenhower in 3 sets. Nichole lead with a .556 hitting percentage and 8 kills. Nichole played on Dakota's Varsity during the 2016 season and was second on the team in hitting percentage. The team finished 35-13 and was ranked 12th in the state. Nichole was named the Dakota JV teams MVP for 2015 season by her coach Neil Rucinsky. The team finished with a 33-5 record - winning the division with a 9-1 league record. Our team finished 65th out of 150 teams at Orlando's National tournament the end of
