Payton LaVigne '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches,

My name is Payton LaVigne. I am going to be a 2026 graduate of Carrollton High School, in Carrollton MI. My goals for the future are to attend a college or university either playing D1, D2, D3, NAIA, or JC volleyball, and get my nursing or psychology degree. I am a very good candidate for your team because I have earned multiple leadership awards in and outside of the classroom as well as on the volleyball court. I have also received basketball awards throughout my time at Carrollton Middle School. I am a very responsible and mature young lady. 2022-2023 Volleyball season as a freshman on the varsity squad, I received my first Varsity Letter and All-Round Utility Player of the Year. 2023-2024 Volleyball season as a Sophomore on the varsity squad, I received TVC Blue-Conference Champion, Team Captain, 1st Team All-Conference, Underclassmen MVP, Second Varsity Letter, Most Blocks in a Single Season, Most Blocks in the Season, and MLIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK. I can play every position, front and back. I am different from many other recruits because of my athleticism and academics. My current cumulative GPA is 3.927, I am on the Honor Roll, Top 10, and Student Council. I am ready to commit to being focused on being the best athlete I can be and getting recruited to great schools. Currently, as a sophomore, I have a total of 86.00 service hours. I have volunteered to be a student coach for the Carrollton Middle School Volleyball team and a line judge. I have raised money for my Volleyball program and helped a teacher move into her classroom to gain even more volunteer hours. I am on an 18U Regional Travel Volleyball for IMUA in Saginaw, MI. I am also an active member of St. John Paul II Catholic church.
