Sheridan Salisbury '16 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing the sport of volleyball since I was eight years old. My lifetime dream is to play collegiate volleyball and sand volleyball. When I choose which college I want to attend it will ultimately come down to the volleyball competitiveness. I strive to reach my high goals of winning championships and breaking records.

I am a very versatile player, throughout my eight years of playing volleyball I have played the positions of a setter, libero, right side hitter, and an outside hitter. During off season the club I play for is one of the top three clubs in the whole country (Mizuno Northern Lights)! My 14's year for club season my team was able to take the top 10 at the USJNC  tournament in Columbus, Ohio. We also took 3rd at The Big South Qualifier in Atlanta, Georgia. The next year my team and I were able to win and place highly in many tournaments and qualifiers. This year I will lead my team to victories and play to my best potential.

I have been a starter for the Chatfield Gopher volleyball team for the past three years, one year being on JV. The two years I was on the varsity team we were nominated the academic all conference and all state team. My first year being on Varsity I received the honorable mention hitter. This past season I received The Three Rivers honorable mention as a setter and I was ranked 2nd as the conference leader for serving percentages.
